I’ve always been excited about creating beautiful and authentic jewellery. The kind of jewellery that inspires a mesmerizing state of awe and captures your heart at first glance. Strolling through the vibrant streets of Stellenbosch as a student, I much too often found myself in Church Street, staring in awe at the jewellery behind the glass windows…
Studying Creative Jewellery Design and Metal Techniques at the University of Stellenbosch, I never endeavoured to have my own business. Taking my first steps into the big world I trained as a goldsmith for 2 years, where I grew in confidence and truly developed my craftsmanship. I found my way back to the wondrous Church Street, this time working behind the glass windows, making my acquaintance with the jewellery industry.
It was only during this period that I became intrigued with business. The idea of creating my own jewellery collection captivated my heart and I established my jewellery brand, Terusa Anne, in 2017.
My business venture took a wonderful and definite form when I was making jewellery for my wedding in 2018. What a privilege and blessing it was to create all the pieces that my heart desired. I believe this is something every bride-to-be deserves.
I fell in love with the concept of creating a platform for people where we can create beautiful, significant, and timeless pieces together. My business grew into a place where I can pursue what I love and at the same time enrich the lives of the people I connect with.
Armand and I are happily married and working in a team behind Terusa Anne. With his amazing business ideas and strategies along with my creativity and manufacturing skills, we are purposefully building towards a bright and exciting future to the glory of God. We are blessed to live an expectant life and have hope for great things to come!
